Industrial Tools & Building Supplies Auction
Industrial tools and building supplies are going under the hammer in NSW with allbids, closing 18 August. The standout lots are five lots of brand-new Seves Glassblock Neutro Doric Q30 metallised glass blocks, each covering 9.7 square metres with an original retail price of $14,000 a lot.
-
Workshop Clearance Sale – Unreserved
A workshop clearance sale in Port Kennedy, WA, is putting up 57 lots of industrial and trade gear, all unreserved. Expect ute trays including a VW Amarok and Isuzu DMAX, plus a couple of unknown models that could suit a tradie chasing a cheap fit-out.
-
MOSTLY UNRESERVED Workshop Clearance
A mostly unreserved workshop clearance is putting up industrial gear, vehicle bits, and a custom-built firewood trailer through Lloyds Auctions. The lot list includes a Scalen FX43150, a 2003 Atlas Copco GX15FF compactor, Ampelair blowers, and a hydraulic test rig assembly, plus alloy and steel wheel rims sold as grouped lots.
FAQ
What typically comes up in industrial auctions?
Manufacturing plant and machinery, lathes, presses, mills, compressors, warehouse racking and shelving, commercial fitouts, and the full contents of factories and workshops when they close.
How do I find industrial auctions in my state?
The listings below are organised by state. The major houses such as Slattery, Lloyds, and Grays, all run regular industrial sales nationally. Local clearance and liquidation houses also contribute significant volume in each state.
Is industrial equipment sold with any compliance certification?
Rarely. Most equipment is sold as-is with no certification. If you intend to use machinery commercially, you’ll need to arrange an independent compliance inspection before commissioning it in a workplace.
What should I check before bidding on industrial equipment?
Age, condition, operating hours where applicable, power requirements, and whether the equipment is complete (tooling, dies, and accessories often go missing).
Trends & Insights
The major houses are putting serious volume through the floor this week, with Ritchie Bros’ National Unreserved Auction (AUS-2026323) running August 18-20 across multiple locations. That sale is packing over 2,900 items of earthmoving, transport, and construction gear, and the “no reserve” tag on well-maintained packages is the key draw for buyers chasing certainty of supply (Ritchie Bros, Aug 10). If you are in the market for fleet assets, that is the volume event to watch.
Pickles is countering with a spread of national online sales closing mid-week, including Small Plant & Machinery (ends 17 Aug), a Civil Construction Liquidation (ends 18 Aug), and the Coates Hire Equipment Clearance (Pickles Auctions, Aug 16). Their own market commentary notes the industrial sector has settled into steady activity after a record FY26, with ongoing engagements across manufacturing, transport, and engineering (Pickles Auctions, Aug 14). That points to a normalising market, not a retreat.
For the manufacturing and workshop crowd, Lockwood’s timed online sales are worth a look: the Glazier & Glass Equipment Auction closes 19 August, while their August Truck, Vehicle and Machinery Auction opens 17 August (Lockwood Auctions, Aug 10). Up in Queensland, Bidsonline is running simulcast action through mid-to-late August, including the Brisbane Truck & Machinery sale and the Biloela General Public Sale (Bidsonline, Aug 12). With multiple channels live, the bottleneck is not supply, it is inspection time.
Buyers should watch the closing windows on the Pickles civil liquidation and Lockwood glass equipment sale this week, as late bidding on unreserved lots tends to sharpen value.

Rod’s Tips
Factory closure sales are where the genuine bargains are. When a complete factory disposes, everything goes, from the machinery to the brooms. Lot quality is high and pricing is motivated.
Warehouse racking is perennially undervalued at auction. New Dexion or Colby racking is expensive. Second-hand racking at auction, even accounting for transport and re-erection, is typically 30–60% cheaper. Check beam and upright condition carefully for damage and missing pins.
Bring a measuring tape and the equipment specs you need to match. Industrial auction listings are often vague on dimensions. If you’re buying to fill a specific space or process requirement, measure at the preview and don’t rely on catalogue descriptions.
Power requirements matter. Three-phase industrial equipment is common at auction. Confirm your site has the correct supply before bidding on anything that needs it.

NSW Pick Up ONLY – Warehouse Clearance Pallet Sale – 10% BP
More detail
This one’s for the booze traders or anyone with a ute and a shed. The wine pallets are the drawcard, with 37 cartons of McGuigan Gold Merlot 2022 (6x 750mL, SA) and 28 cartons each of Mr Stubbs Margarita and Espresso Martini (6x 500mL, Aus). That’s serious volume for a cellar door, bottle shop, or event hire outfit looking to stock up cheap.
The “Pick Up ONLY” tag is the catch, so factor in transport from Yenorra before you bid. With only 10 lots, it’s a tight sale, not a sprawling clearance. The 10% BP is standard for Grays, but it’ll sting if you’re not accounting for it in your max. Check the lot list for any non-alcohol pallets, but the wine is clearly the headline. If you’re after a quick flip or a party supply score, this is worth a look.

Industrial Tools & Building Supplies Auction
More detail
These Seves glass blocks are the headline act, and there are five separate lots of them. That’s nearly 50 square metres of premium metallised glass block in total, still in brand-new condition. The Q30 Neutro Doric profile is a quality architectural product, and the $14,000 ORP per lot gives you a solid benchmark for the discount on offer. If you’re a builder, glazier, or renovator with a commercial project in mind, this is serious stock at a fraction of its retail value.
Beyond the glass, the auction carries a broader range of industrial tools and building supplies, so it’s worth scrolling through the full 61 lots. With allbids running the sale online, you can bid from anywhere in NSW, but check the close time on 18 August and have your bids in early. The metallised finish on the glass blocks gives a distinctive, reflective look, so expect interest from design-focused buyers as much as tradies.

43 Industrial Hat Blocks
More detail
These aren’t your run-of-the-mill display pieces. Industrial hat blocks were made to shape felt and straw under serious pressure, so they’re built like tanks. Expect a mix of sizes and profiles, from classic cloches to wide brims, with the kind of patina that only decades of workshop use can deliver. For collectors, they’re a direct line to the rag trade’s heyday; for makers or stylists, they’re ready-made moulds or sculptural props.
Lawsons runs these weekly sales out of Annandale, so the block collection sits alongside their usual mix of furniture, books, and oddments. If you’re chasing one or the whole lot, check the condition notes carefully, some may have cracks or warping from heavy use. Bidding closes Thursday the 27th of August, so factor in a pre-auction inspection if you’re serious about condition.
-

Skid Steer Attachments,Workshop Tools &More-Dubbo(Unused)
More detail
This is a solid chance to grab skid steer gear without the wear and tear. The headline items are the unused attachments, which are often the first to get hammered on site. A rock picking bucket suits anyone clearing paddocks, while the auger drive and sweeper broom cover fencing and cleanup work. If you run a Bobcat or similar machine, these are worth a close look before they get bid up.
Beyond the attachments, the workshop tools round out the catalogue. With 104 lots total, there’s likely a mix of hand tools, consumables, and bits you’d normally pay full retail for. Dubbo location means local pickup is straightforward, but check the listing for freight options if you’re further out. No close date locked in yet, so keep checking the page if you’re serious.

Warehouse Clearance – Perth
More detail
The standout lots here are the heavy lifting items. A full pallet of scaffolding beams and poles is the sort of thing that rarely shows up in this condition at auction, so if you’re in construction or maintenance, that’s where the value sits. There’s also a crate of steel poles and a separate crate of wire rope, both solid buys for anyone needing structural or rigging materials.
The smaller lots round it out nicely. The bucket of rope and assorted PVC fittings, along with the plastic safety chains and safety gloves, are handy pick-ups for site clean-up or basic workshop stock. The upright fridge and cooler are practical additions, likely from a site office or break room.
Buyers should note the close date is still to be confirmed, so check the listing regularly. With only 20 lots, this one moves fast once it opens, and the mix of scaffolding and wire rope means it’s worth a look for tradies or scrappers alike.
-
Shelters, Tool Boxes, Generators, Workshop&More-WA (Unused)
More detail
The standout lots here are the container shelters, which are built for serious storage or workshop space. You’ve got four variations on offer, including models with end walls, and all are listed as unused, so they’re essentially brand new without the retail price tag. The 60ft x 40ft option is the big one if you need covered area for machinery, vehicles, or stock, while the 40ft versions are more manageable for a standard block or worksite.
Beyond the shelters, the lot list covers tool boxes and generators, which rounds this out as a practical clearing sale for anyone setting up a workshop or needing backup power. Since everything’s unused, condition shouldn’t be a worry, but check the photos and item descriptions for exact specs like capacity and dimensions. The close date is still to be confirmed, so keep checking the listing if you’re serious.
-
Workshop Clearance Sale – Unreserved
More detail
Grays is running the lot, and the mix leans heavily toward ute and workshop hardware. The Amarok and DMAX trays are the headline items, but the two unidentified trays are worth a look if you’re after a budget option for a custom build. With everything unreserved, prices should track low, but that also means competition could heat up on the better-condition pieces.
Beyond the trays, this is a proper workshop clean-out, so you’ll likely find the usual supporting cast: tooling, brackets, and assorted metalwork that accumulates over years on the job. No street address is listed, so factor in a trip to Port Kennedy and inspect before you bid. Check the photos carefully, especially on the unknown trays, as condition will vary. Close date is still TBC, so keep checking the listing for the countdown.
-

Light Vehicles, Trucks, Earthmoving Equipment, Mobile Generators, Pumps & Workshop Equipment Traditional Kalgoorlie Auction
More detail
This auction packs a solid mix for miners, contractors, and tradies. The vehicle lineup includes several Toyota HiLux and LandCruiser utes, a 2018 Isuzu NNR 45-150 tray truck, and a 2015 Ford Transit Custom van. On the earthmoving side, look for a Caterpillar 320D excavator, a Komatsu WA320 wheel loader, and a 2016 Hitachi ZX135US-5 excavator.
Mobile generators from Cummins and Himoinsa are listed, along with a range of submersible and centrifugal pumps. The workshop gear covers welders, compressors, and tooling. All items are located at the Great Eastern Highway showroom. Buyers should inspect in person before bidding. Auction close date is yet to be confirmed, so check the listing for updates.

NSW/ACT Workshop Machinery, Small Tooling, & Groundcare Equipment (Online)
More detail
This is a mixed-bag online auction with only four lots, so it pays to look closely at what’s on offer. The Kincrome gear is solid workshop kit: the K12161 low-profile trolley jack is useful for lowered cars or tight clearance jobs, and the two pairs of K12204 ratchet jack stands mean you can set up a safe lift on both ends of a vehicle. They’re brand-name items that hold their value.
The unbranded engine is a bit of a mystery, so factor in a visual inspection or ask for more details before bidding. The pallet of directional drilling equipment could be the sleeper lot if you’re in civil or utilities work, but check the condition and completeness. Pickles is running this one as a timed online sale, closing August 17, 2026. With only four lots, the bidding should move fast.

MOSTLY UNRESERVED Workshop Clearance
More detail
This one’s got a bit of everything for a shed or trade operation. The Atlas Copco GX15FF compactor is a solid workhorse if you need compressed air on site, while the Scalen FX43150 covers the weighing side. The hydraulic test rig assembly, with its pump and manifold setup, looks like a proper workshop piece for anyone doing maintenance or repairs in-house.
The custom-built enclosed firewood trailer is the standout for rural or semi-rural buyers, hinged and ready to haul. There’s also a group lot of storage containers with hydraulic bits, two industrial storage cabinets including contents, and a set of Toyota wheel rim and tyre packages. The four alloy wheels and four painted steel rims are each sold as separate lots, so you can grab a full set without bidding against someone chasing just one.
Most lots are unreserved, which means the market sets the price. The auction closes 20 August, and with 12+ lots listed, it’s worth scrolling through the full catalogue to pick out the bits you actually need. Check the photos and condition notes before bidding, especially on the cabinets with contents, since you’re buying the lot as-is.

-

VIC/TAS Workshop Machinery, Small Tooling, & Groundcare Equipment (Online)
More detail
This one’s got a solid spread for anyone setting up or topping up a workshop. The YILMAZ up-cutting saw is the headline act for metal fab work, while the Rottler milling and surfacing machine suits engine reconditioning or precision jobs. The SERVEX hydraulic press and Serdi pressure tester round out the heavier gear, so there’s real value for trade buyers, not just hobbyists.
On the lighter side, there’s a Milwaukee combo kit, an assortment of electric and petrol drills, and 10 x 285W Arlec pedestal fans to keep the shed cool. The lot list also throws in four plastic road side barriers (2000mm x 850mm x 570mm approx) and a Fantech vertical exhaust roof duct, which are handy for site work or ventilation setups.
Bidding closes on 2 September 2026, with the sale running online from various locations. Lot count is listed at 12+, so expect a few more additions before close. Check the full catalogue for condition reports and pickup details, especially since the gear is spread across multiple sites.

Shelters, Tool Boxes, Generators, Workshop&More-VIC(Unused)
More detail
Grays has put together a solid 108-lot catalogue from a VIC location, and the headline act is the unused shelter range. You’ve got heavy duty 40ft x 80ft units, plus 40ft versions with end walls, all listed as unused. These are proper industrial-grade covers, not the flimsy weekend job. If you’ve been pricing up a new shed or need covered storage in a hurry, this is where you’ll save real coin.
Beyond the shelters, the sale is packed with practical workshop items. Think toolboxes, generators, and assorted gear that’s clearly been bought for a project that never went ahead. The “unused” tag across the board is the big drawcard here, so condition shouldn’t be a gamble. Check the photos and lot descriptions carefully, but expect near-new condition on most of it.
For buyers, the key is sorting your transport early. These shelters are big and heavy, so factor in truck hire and loading before you bid. Shepparton is a manageable pickup for northern VIC and southern NSW buyers, but don’t get caught out on the logistics. Bidding closes on a set date, so get your inspections done and your bids in before the timer runs out.

Major Event – CNC Machining Centres & Industrial Robots
More detail
This is a serious lineup for any machine shop looking to upgrade without paying new prices. The 2023 and 2024 Makino A71NX models are current-generation horizontal machining centres, known for speed, rigidity, and precision, ideal for high-volume production work. The 2022 Makino MC4 and the 2013 A51-5XR round out a solid spread of spindles, giving buyers options across different age and price brackets.
Beyond the Makinos, the 136 lots include industrial robots, which suggests a fully automated cell setup or at least the bones of one. If you’re chasing a turnkey robotic loading system or just need a replacement arm, this is where you’ll find it. The auction closes 19 August 2026, so there’s time to get on-site and inspect the gear before bidding. Given the age range, check spindle hours and service history on the older units, but the newer machines should be close to as-new condition.
-

Unreserved Major Site Closure, Engineering & Workshop
More detail
This is an unreserved clearance, so everything needs a new home and the starting prices should reflect that. For a fabrication or machining shop looking to upgrade, the two HAAS machines are the headline acts. The VM 3 is a solid workhorse for complex milling jobs, and the ST20’s 12-station turret plus swarf conveyor means it’s set up for production runs, not just one-off jobs.
Rounding out the lineup is a 2010 Richyoung DP-915AH drill press for the heavier drilling tasks, and a 2020 Macc TRS 300 steel cut-off saw that’s barely had time to earn its keep. With 103 lots on the catalogue, there’s likely to be tooling, workholding, and general workshop consumables filling out the sale. Buyers should get in early to inspect the CNC machines under power if possible, and factor in removal costs from Bayswater North. The close date is set for September 1, 2026, so there’s time to do the homework properly.
-

Gollant — Iconic Melbourne Professional Speaker Manufacturer
More detail
This is a rare chance to get inside the workshop of a local name that’s been building professional speakers since the early 1970s. The retirement sale reflects a full production line, not just surplus stock. Expect to see raw speaker drivers, compression horns, crossover networks, and finished cabinets, along with the sort of bench tools and testing gear that kept a small manufacturer running for half a century.
Standout lots are likely to include bulk lots of components that are hard to source new, especially if you’re restoring older PA gear or starting a custom build. There’s also the possibility of picking up complete speaker systems that were built for commercial use, which could be a bargain for pubs, clubs, or hire companies looking to refresh their inventory.
Buyers should check the condition notes carefully, as some items may be ex-demo or show wear from years of handling. With the close date still to be confirmed, it’s worth registering early and watching the listing for updates. If you’re in the audio trade or just like a good workshop clearance, this one’s worth a look.

Shelters, Tool Boxes, Generators, Workshop&More-Tmba(Unused)
More detail
This is a straight-up buy for anyone needing covered storage or a workshop shell without the wait or the custom-build price. The headline lots are the big container shelters, all listed as unused, which means no rust, no wear, and no previous owner’s mess to deal with. The 40ft x 80ft double-trussed unit is the standout for span and clearance, while the 60ft x 40ft and the 40ft x 60ft with end wall cover the more compact setups.
Beyond the shelters, the catalogue runs to tool boxes, generators, and general workshop gear, so it’s worth scrolling the full 127 lots if you’re kitting out a shed or a worksite. These are industrial-grade items, not weekend-warrior stuff, so expect solid construction and practical sizing. Close date is still TBC, so keep an eye on the listing for the countdown. If you need a big covered area fast, this is about as close to a turnkey solution as auctions get.
-

Closure Of Engineering Workshop
More detail
This is a proper workshop clearance, not a clean-out of odds and ends. The plastic processing gear is the headline, with a 3-phase mixing hopper and a resin hopper dryer that’ll suit anyone running a small moulding or extrusion setup. The dust extractor is a sensible add-on if you’re shifting plastic dust, and the DC motor gives you spare drive options for conveyors or mixers.
Buyers should check the lot photos for condition and age, but this looks like working gear from an active operation, not scrap. With 168 lots, there’s likely tooling, electricals, and workshop furniture buried in there too, so it’s worth scrolling the full catalogue. Pickup will be the usual Grays process, so factor in transport from Clontaf before bidding.

NT Warehouse And Yard Clearance
More detail
This is a solid spread for anyone after working trucks or a bus for conversion or fleet use. The 2019 Hino 500 tipper is the pick of the lot, low hours and ready to tip, while the 2020 Hino 300 tray is a practical everyday workhorse. The Mercedes-Benz Atego 1628 4×4 vacuum unit is the oddball, but that makes it a good grab for contractors in the oil, gas, or waste game.
The 2013 Mitsubishi BE600 bus is worth a look if you’re chasing a cheap people-mover or a camper build, and the rest of the yard clearance should round out the load with odds and ends. Close date is still listed as TBC, so check the listing for updates before you plan your bid. Yarrawonga is a bit out of the way, so factor in transport costs, but the mix here suggests some real value if you’re prepared to move quick when the date firms up.

New Industrial Chillers & Cooling Towers
More detail
MGS has been running sales from this Adelaide suburb since 1980, and this one is squarely aimed at commercial operators. The lot list features new and unused industrial chillers, cooling towers, and associated pumps and controls. If you need to upgrade a factory or warehouse cooling system, this is a chance to buy at auction prices rather than retail.
Buyers should note the close date is yet to be confirmed, so keep an eye on the listing for the deadline. Given MGS handles regular commercial and machinery sales, inspection arrangements are likely straightforward. The gear is in Kilkenny, so factor in pickup logistics if you are bidding from interstate.
