At Slattery Auctions This Week – Plant-Equipment, Vehicles, Trucks and 150 More Events

A 111-lot industrial equipment sale out of Garbutt, Queensland is the headline event on the Slattery calendar this week, anchored by a 2022 Flow Mach 500 water jet listed with a $90,000 starting bid and a 2025 Hugong laser cutter at $52,500. A HAAS milling machine rounds out the headline lots at $20,000, and the whole catalogue closes 5:00 AM on 30 September 2026 (Slattery Auctions, Sep 30). Fabrication and precision machining assets of this vintage do not surface often in one catalogue, so buyers chasing near-new CNC capacity should treat the Garbutt sale as the week’s priority inspection.

Queensland’s mining heartland is also in play. Slattery extended a 75-lot used mining equipment auction across the Mackay and Nebo area after network issues disrupted the original close, with ex-mine Toyota Landcruiser Prados currently bid between $25,000 and $28.25,000 ahead of a revised close around 9 July 2026 (Slattery Auctions, Oct 6). Ex-mine light vehicles continue to pull steady money, and the extension gives late bidders a second window on stock that rarely sits long.

Elsewhere the national calendar is running to form. An 83-lot Perth truck and machinery auction at Jandakot closed 22 September 2026 with commercial vehicles and equipment drawing ongoing bids (Slattery Auctions, Sep 30), while Adelaide’s weekly motor vehicle sale at Pooraka lists 14-plus ex-council and late-model cars, including a Toyota RAV4 and BMW models bid in the $15,000 to $32,000 range (Slattery Auctions, Oct 6). Melbourne follows with a trucks and machinery event at Dandenong South running 9 to 15 October 2026, promoted around prime movers, curtainsiders and excavators for operational fleets (LinkedIn, Oct 2).

Watch the Garbutt close and any further timetable shifts on the Mackay sale, since both will set the tone for industrial pricing into October.
