Mason Gray Strange Auctions is hosting an auction for the entire contents of the famous Montezumas Mexican Restaurant. The auction will take place on Thursday, 5th March 2026 at 11:00 AM. It will be held onsite at 2 Partridge Street, Glenelg, SA 5045.

Auction Details

Inspection: Available on the morning of the sale starting at 9:00 AM. The auctioneer recommends that potential bidders inspect the goods in person prior to bidding.

Payment: Accepted methods include cash, bank cheque, and EFTPOS. There will be a 1.1% surcharge for credit card payments. Online buyers’ credit card payments will be processed after 24 hours.

Buyers Premium: A buyers premium of 16.5% will apply to the final sale price. The sale is GST inclusive.

Collection: Winning bidders can collect their items on the day of the auction until 4 PM and the following day from 9 AM to 4 PM. All goods must be collected by 4 PM on Friday, 6th March. It is the buyer’s responsibility to organise licensed tradespersons for the disconnection of any hardwired equipment.

The restaurant has good access for loading via a laneway, and there is free 2-hour parking available next door.
