Australia Post Electric Bicycle Clearance

Note: This post is more than two weeks old and may contain outdated information. See the front page for the latest sale notices.

Pickles Auctions is holding a clearance auction of ex-Australia Post Electric Bikes. This auction features 22 bikes in two different models. It’s curious to note that electric bikes have been in use for over six years now at Australia Post as they move away from the traditional motorbike. To the best of my knowledge, the yellow bikes were based on the traditional postie bike frame and developed here in Australia using imported parts, the red bike is an updated version. If that’s incorrect please feel free to send me some updated info.

Check the listing you are bidding on carefully. Some have batteries and some do not. Same goes for the charger. Also note they are all sold as “condition unknown,” so bid accordingly.

The bikes hold their battery in the rear pack shelf and have electric assist on the front wheel with pedal power driving the rear with three gears by the looks. Bikes are located in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, QLD.
